New Agents for the Management of Tenosynovial Giant Cell Tumor:
A Virtual Reality Tour of CSF1 Pathway Inhibitors
This online activity is focused on the management of patients with tenosynovial giant cell tumor (TGCT).
This CME initiative is designed to meet the educational needs of US-based orthopedic surgeons, sarcoma specialists, oncologic surgeons, medical oncologists, and other primary healthcare professionals (physicians, physicians assistants, nurse practitioners) involved in the management of patients with TGCT.
After completing the CME activity, learners should be better able to:
· Discuss the advantages and disadvantages associated with traditional standard of care therapies for the management of TGCT
· Review the pathogenesis of TGCT with an emphasis on the role of the CSF1 pathway
· Describe the MOAs and efficacy of CSF1 receptor inhibitors used for the treatment of TGCT, safety concerns resulting in a REMS program, and their placement in current management guidelines
